You know that with a antenna cut like this, it is unlikely to work properly?
|
are you joking?
its should be that short |
The antennas for 2.4GHz are much shorter(than 27/40MHz) indeed. but Futaba uses on 603FS a coaxial cable of about 10cm, which then terminates as an antenna of precise length(it is something like 31.25mm?). If it is cut, there is no antenna anymore (which will still sort of work since the 603FS has diversity antenna on PCB)
Everyone should be aware of this, Futaba makes it clear in the 2.4GHz modules user-manual. And it has been repeated several times around forums. No harm, it can be replaced for pennys. But it's important to bear in mind if the buyer sees unreliable behaviour |
Unless it's been shortened at the PCB end? Leaving the real antenna end length intact????

As far as i,m aware the ariel lead as not been shortened.
