there are good outside tracks in Coventry and Stotfold near Baldock, closer to you I don't know - but someone will

I would think that Stotfold is the closest club to you, most of the East of England clubs are based more Eastwards, at Braxted, Lawford, Ipswich and just north of Norwich, there used to be a club at Kings Lynn but I am not sure that is still running.

There is a track on the A17 just west of Kings Lynn called Eastrax, although I am not sure if there is a club scene there, and also Holbeach a little further along from there which is venturing into the Mid East region.

I believe that Bedfordshire falls into the Mid South Region so you may have more luck posting in there.
