Battery question.
 

Ive just got and orion rocket pack and it makes a humming noise when its charging is this normal as my old cell doesnt?

Anyone?????

It's not normal no, is it a Nimh pack, new or 2nd hand?

Fizzing is the cells venting which isn't ideal and normally a sign the cells are on their way out. Fizzing and humming don't really sound the same though.

Contact www.teamorion.com and ask them for their advice.

Its a brand new battery mate.

if its brand new, phone the shop you got it from. If local take it back with your charger to show them.

Ive spoken to him he thinks its the charger thats the problem so im going to test the bat on one at his shop to see if thats the case. Im using a TLP 4000c charger if thats any help to anyone?

have heard a battery hum on charge before, it was a stick pack. boy used it a few times after noise was noticed, it melted its plastic end cap, turned out that the end tag was not properly welded on

Im going to give it a go on another charger first to see if its the same.
