LRP High Power Soldering Station any good ?

Since I do know how to solder but never had a good soldering iron only the
cheap crappy ones I was considering have this brought to me from the States.

From temperature and Watt it looks ok for me , comes with replacement tips and looks nice and compact.

Anybody can recommend it or have any thoughts on it ?

Thanks,
Erik

IMO at that price it is really expensive if you just want it for general rc soldering.

Ive got a wellar 80watt iron and its perfect for most rc jobs and i have a small 12v iron for any detailled soldering i need to do. Both came to 30 pound not 160 quid.

Sounds like a bargain

to buy the Weller ones.

I would pay this one 130 Pound since it's bought in the US and brought as hand luggage :) .

I'm going to have a look for the Weller ones since I've seen those mentioned a lot.

Thanks Ashley for the advice.

I use this 25W Antex for general soldering of motors etc

And i use this 100W version for instant heat when building batteries

Superb bits of kit - replacement tips of various sizes available
