Mini Latop's
Acer Aspire etc that come with Linux
is it easy to wipe and install Windows? why, want to run Tekin HW & BBK netscreen from one any links? |
I think to install windows you'll have to borrow some sort of USB dvd drive to get it on there - I tried other methods like bootable usb stick but that was too complex for my little brain.

yeah, you would need a USB DVD drive, and access to the bios. But a lot of the smaller Netbooks, might not have the space, storage wise. Some of the real cheap ones, got Windows CE, and that won't run .Net correctly.

PXE boot and then image it?
You'll obviously need to set up a VM on another machine running PXE, DHCP and WDS etc. |

Yerr it's easily done, You got to either have a removable CD-bay or make a USB pen into a bootable device.
I put Windows 7 onto a USB pen being a bootable device and formatted off this, works awesome on the Aspire one :) |
