Ball Joint Part Numbers
For those of you who are running RPM or Losi ball cups on your DB01/TRF501/511, can you tell me what make you are running with the part numbers too if you've got them please?
My balls are worn :woot: and as I have loads of RPM/Losi ball cups I thought it would be better to just replace the balls to suit. Thanks!! |
I can't help with part numbers but I was running Hot Bodies D4 balls on my 501X
|
I use:
LO-A-6015 (Losi white ball cups) HB-61582 and HB-61581 (Hot Bodies ball studs) Found them at rcmodel.com.hk |
Thanks Jimmy & Fredrik, just what I'm after.
How do they compare pricewise to others? |
I use the Hot Bodies studs and JConcepts cups on my 501. Just bought a set for my db-01 this week and it was £6.50 for each pack of balls (8 in a pack) and about £7 for a full set of cups. Only thing I found is that the tamiya cups have a lot longer arm than the Jc ones so theres not as much thread in the cup so its not quite as strong but I haven't had one let go yet so it can't be that bad.

Thanks, not bad then.
I already have the RPM and Losi cups, but realised last night that they don't fit the tamiya balls, it's good to know that they fit the HPI balls well. |

I found mine at racingfactory.
Ball studs : http://www.racingfactory.fi/products...-x-10mm-101702 http://www.racingfactory.fi/products...-x-13mm-101837 Ball Cups : http://www.racingfactory.fi/products...ural-16-101716 Service is excellent... I always email Kenneth to ask the stock situation... They are a perfect fit... I also use them on the entire steering rack and have almost zero tolerance for 2 months now... :) Regards. |
Thanks for the replies, have ordered some Schumacher ball studs now as they were very cheap:D
