Orion 100amp cutting out???

Right i have decided to run the spare car tonight (X5) as mine is in a bit of need for a rebuild and im awaiting a screw kit from nor-tech before i do that :),

Anyway the spare car has an orion brushless esc in (100amp one) but after about 6 mins of running it cuts out randomly , the esc is stone cold so dont think its thermaling and lipo's still reading a 7.92v so no chance of lipo cut-off kicking in either. Its also only running a 13.5 so not running anywhere near the limit.

I know races are only 5 mins but dont want to chance it cutting out during a race and if it can be solved brill

Thanks in advance,
Will

mine did this and i had no idea what it was. I changed motor and speedo and it still did it. In the end i changed the receiver and this has seemed to solve the problem. No idea why though!

They do that

Try and get some air flow to it. There really is very little you can do

Does'nt seem to be  servo still works when it has cut out, been using the same receiver as i do in my other cars (S44, CR2, X6, Dad's Durga ) and never had problems of cutting out in those, so im sure thats not the problem
