I have a 7.5 and a fu bared lipo and it was still getting me into all sorts of problems, even with the slipper whaling, when I got a whole lap spot on though whooooo!!!!!

If I had a good Lipo in a good 10.5 or maybe 9.5 would be perfect for a Friday night.

ex-sco77morgan 11-08-2009 08:51 AM

On the friday night tracks with the bare floor and technical sections a 10.5 is perfect I reckon. When at Talywain or Cobra outdoor you will have no problem with 7.5 then I reckon..........

But can you honestly be bothered to change? Unless you put in a 7.5 and turn it down on tranny?

10.5 for me all the way, but then I'm still a pretty poo driver :woot:

Big G 11-08-2009 08:57 AM

a 19T money motor does it for me hehe

it's slow enough I don't crash as much

pants outdoors though, although easy to drift

just bought an x12 7.5 off shanks.

I'm going to turn the throttle exp right down for a very 'soft curve' - maybe even back off the timing on my speedo as well.

of course, there's no rule that says I absolutely have to use full throttle all the time

at first i had the soft curve setting on the handset - but after reading the rc10 forum ( sorry jimmy for noting another forum) and filled the diff with black greese you will be amazed on how much power you can put down.

im thinking 6.5 for taly lol!! but nothing more than an 8 for club

right then, 4.5r it is for taly.

I'll need to PM stampede VXLboy for some tips about wheelie bars etc.

millzy 11-08-2009 09:35 AM

hahaha i thought about that - and maybe one for the front lol

ex-sco77morgan 11-08-2009 09:36 AM

There is more set-up talk on this forum for the SC10 than all other 1/10th buggies combined. This is mental for a truck which we race for fun but I won't lie to you Bryn "I LOVES IT" !!

Big G 11-08-2009 10:05 AM

setup? what's that then lol :p

millzy 11-08-2009 10:12 AM

i dunno but i know my truck fails two of the ROAR rules lol

ex-sco77morgan 11-08-2009 10:14 AM

I'm all for those rules

Then it's how fast can you get your 17.5 going SPX Stock springs to mind

millzy 11-08-2009 10:17 AM

i find 17.5 a put off to be honest

Body Paint 11-08-2009 10:30 AM

Who in they're right mind would ever want to run Stock motors :lol:

If it's dry the 4.5 is on standby for Tally... wheelie tastic

millzy 11-08-2009 10:31 AM

some old guys i think

DMC MUST HAVE ONE ??
