Nice, does it load the program? If it does goto tools > Internet options > advanced tab and click reset to manf defaults (it won't loose your bookmarks). If not, goto control panel > Internet properties > Advanced and click it from there.

You could have spyware on it. Try HiJack this (from Trend Micro) and there is a log analyzer you can use to tell you if there is anything sus going on. If your stuck, PM me the log.

Toadeh

big up for this user http://www.oople.com/forums/images/icons/icon14.gif

problems now sorted using a program from here

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/comb...o-use-combofix

look for this icon to download

http://img.bleepingcomputer.com/combofix/en/cf-icon.jpg

use at your own risk

I was prepared to do a complete install of vista if this failed

Ta,

Yes, use at own risk! Run Malware bytes first, if that fails then use combofix.

Glad its fixed though :)

just bin internet explorer and use firefox, far less problems and lots of very useful add ons!

MatJohnson 14-08-2009 07:56 AM

Not really, ff is OK, but its still not the best. IE works well. For true 100% rendering use Opera.
