10th Euros coverage - pre-pre-report

The 2009 Euros race report is now LIVE - sort of.

http://www.oople.com/rc/photos/euros.../prenews01.jpg

The early pre-pre-report consists of a write up of the road trip so far as we slowly grind our way across France to attend this great event. Be sure to keep checking back for great race coverage soon - the event starts properly on Monday.

Did I post in the wrong thread...

Ha ha very good Mr Jimmy...

Just for the record the ferry companies are the ones responsible for the tunnel being only for trains. There were a few projects to choose from and especially one (MY grand dad's project, yes MY) which had fierce oposition from the ferry companies. "Cars driving under the sea by themselves for a small toll? ARE YOU MAD?" they said... So we got the trains...

'bout the toilets they're actually turkish toilets, HA :p

erkan 08-08-2009 03:02 PM

they are not toilets, they are holes in the ground

WOW, can you imagine. A tunnel for cars that links the UK with Europe! I guess the issue would have been at what point do you have to change side of the road

It's obvious, at the limit between english waters and international waters :p And a massive traffic jam at the lights where that happens lol

Rich D 09-08-2009 08:58 AM

I have to ask - WTF is DOG milk ?:woot:

showtime 09-08-2009 10:01 AM

It's fairly easy to do that without interupting traffic flow: Clicky

blue_pinky 10-08-2009 12:50 PM

Blimey...that looks a bit complicated :woot:...why don't they just have a single bridge that runs one of the directions of flow over the other?

Or am I missing the point somehow???
