Receiver Power-Cap

I've noticed than when I bang the throttle open on my Mardave banger, the light on my PT goes out momentarily. I've not had any problems with laps being missed so far, but with the Banger World Final approaching (and having actually qualified for the main race this year ) I'm keen to eliminate the possibility of it happening.

What are my options for a Power-Cap that will plug into my receiver? Or would it be better to take the power for the PT straight from the manual speed controller? Would this eliminate the momentary drop as I'm bypassing the receiver? These are only 4 cell racers don't forget.

Thanks in advance.........

What about one of theses?

It goes between the PT and receiver and keeps the voltage up.

Dave I used a power cap that plugged into the receiver all the time with a Mardave without any PT issues.

Looks like the MRT booster might be the better option - saves having to swap receivers to ones with 4 sockets.
