Spektrum power cap

Just wondering if any one uses a power cap when using spektrum?

Having a few issues at the moment, and trying to narrow it down!

Many thanks

Use one with my LRP TC Sphere as I have issues with this ESC. No probs with my Tekin RS Pro. LRP TC is coming out of the Cat SX and junked for a Tekin

Prob is i have never had any problems for 8-9 months when i started using spektrum, just weird thats all. Going to try putting a power cap on and check all electrical connections.

I ALWAYS use one with EVERYTHING, 40MHz, Spektrum, everything.

Is it worth not using one?

Well that's my theory shot. I would have said it was a Low C rated cell but clearly not now:confused:

I ran an S4 with exactly the same electronics as a friends bj4 (not that the cars matter). He needed a cap I didn't. The difference was the Cells, I had 30-35C Cells. He used TP's old 20C ones. Then I saw a press release from Novak highlighting the same issue.

I have never had a problem. Thought I did once, but turned out to be a loose Corally connector.

But in your case I would do as this man suggests. ;)
