New website for XFactory

XFactory have unveiled their new website which replaces the old triple-site aproach of the past. The new site covers the full range of products, a new forum, news and tips.

XFactory also announced a new 4WD is on the way and the existing ageing X-5 is now discontinued. Details on the new car aren't available but hopefully we'll see something soon now that the X-5 has been officially discontinued.

X Factory is proud to announce its all new web site at a new URL, www.xfactoryrc.com . Site navigation is all new and much improved, with several new features. Most striking is the cool new look.

The new site features photos on the front page and includes the new “line drawing” box art. All the old features remain, including the videos, podcasts, forum, Meet The Team, and Tech pages you have come to expect from X Factory. There is also an all-new forum board.

Webmaster Ceci said, “The old sites grew piecemeal as so many things like this do, and navigation became difficult. People were not certain whether what they wanted was on the toolbar or down the left side of the page. We made it much simpler by using pull-downs from the toolbar buttons. Navigation aids all over the website follow this “Keep it simple” principle.

“We are keeping the old URLs, 2wdrc.com and 4wdrc.com, and if you click on either of them you will be redirected to the new site, www.xfactoryrc.com . Previously you had to visit two sites to get all the latest news, now there is just one. The store remains on a separate server with a new URL, www.xfactorystore.com .

“There are a few changes still to come, and we will introduce them as quickly as they are completed. Please contact us on the forum with comments and suggestions.”
