Trakpower balancing
 
I have searched before asking the question but cant find the answer:cry:
could someone please help. . . I have bought a trakpower 4900 stick lipo, I have a core rc udc-20 charger, but i dont have the balance lead connector, could someone point me in the right direction as to which connector/harness i need? or maybe post a link to a supplier.

could someone help me out here, I received the lead i ordered from the link given above. do i need to plug the red & black leads into the lipo as well as the balance lead or just the balance lead?

You are correct. The small black balance plug needs to be plugged in as well as the 2 main charging wires whilst charging.

like this (in this case the 2mm wire is red, it's only purpose is to measure voltage)

Thank you very much for that, great help.
Just a quicky...when i BALANCE charge the 4900 lipo, is it better if i balance charge it lower than 1c (5amp) or is balance charging at 1c fine?, basically if i balance charge at a lower amp rate will this extend the life of the battery?

Balance charge at 1c as normal, it shouldn't affect the life of the battery!
