ME-OR 4wd Rd 4 - West Bridgford Model Car club 09.08.09 + Short course trucks

So the final round of the 4wd Regional Series for this year is in just under two weeks time so get yourselves booked in. If you had previously booked in through the me-or site then you should be already in but if you haven't then please send an e-mail containing all your details to

[email protected]

We will be running open classes for 2wd buggies and whoever wants to run 4wd but not in the regional itself. Also we would like to invite everyone who has an SC10 or slash to bring them down and we will put on a heat for you as well. be good to have a heat of these trucks running around.

If you want to run shortcourse trucks or open class please send an e-mail to:-

[email protected]

The Venue:

Bingham RFC

The track will be laid on clubs training area which means it is on flat grass with a few bumpy sections and man made ramps. Pitting areas are in the clubhouse car park on tarmac and also around the track area on grass. Facilities available on the day are a snack bar selling teas, coffees, soft drinks and also Hot sandwiches and snacks. They will also be opening the licensed bar during the day to serve alcoholic drinks if you fancy a pint. Obviously there are also toilets available in the club house to as well as a pool table.
Directions to the venue can be found on the Bingham Rugby Club website at this link: http://www.binghamrufc.co.uk/?page=Contact

The venue address is: Town Pavilion, Brendon Grove, Bingham, NG13 8TN

Timetable:

The timetable will still run an hour behind what is run at the other regional venues because the site is a fairly open public thoroughfare meaning the club will have to lay the track in the morning to make sure that no items go missing over night. Due to this the timetable will be as follows:-

Booking in 9 - 10
Heat Practice 9:15 - 10:45
Drivers Briefing 11
Heat 1 at 11:15, 12:25, 13:35, 14:45
Finals 16:00

At least this means that everyone can have another hour in bed on a sunday morning. Due to the venue being fairly close to residents houses can we request that if you have a generator please can you not turn it on before 9:00am at the earliest.

Lets pray that we don't have any rain this time

So for you guys running the Short course trucks are there any rules?

telboy 28-07-2009 06:14 PM

As Kit, 8.5/7.5 max motors.
Kit springs, geared diff, Kit tyres.

Just about it. As basic as poss?

bondy 28-07-2009 06:20 PM

Hmm

Kit tyres and kit diff anything else is irrelevent ! More power just means more wheel spin ! Ill have to check my schedule for this one looks good though !

sime46 28-07-2009 07:34 PM

Come on Mr Bond. It'll be hilarious. Your regs are fine by me. Keep it simple. Mine is kit with 10.5 and lipo. Bring it onnnnnnnnn.

General Accident 30-07-2009 01:01 PM

Flippin second day of my flippin holiday innit. I'll doubtless be sitting in my caravan in Dorset watching the rain bounce off the awning and wishing I was back at home so I could come and play
