Shocks
Hi all,
So, I've been playing around a bit with my B4's setup a bit lately, and consequently have been changing my shock oil more often than I would usually. Doing it as per the manual's instructions, it takes me FOREVER to get them so that they push out a bit without it being too much - squeezing out the last bit of excess oil. Anyone care to share any tips on how to do this a bit quicker? It drives me batty :eh?: . |
if you are using plastic caps you could drill a small hole and put a bleed screw in, i used to do this using an m2 screw, it does make things easier, why manufacturers dont do it i dont know, suppose it does depend whether it will work on whether or not you use bladders. i never got on with bladders and always replaced them with a small piece of hard packing foam

hey, that's an interesting idea. I'm using the blue tops at the moment because they're a little easier, but I have a load of old plastic caps that I could try this on.

I have bleed caps on my d4 mate, in fact i think i have a spare that you could try if they fit your shocks. have to say though they haven't helped me!
