Hyper 9 + Spares + Hop-ups
 

I am selling my much loved Hyper 9 due to an offer I can't refuse, which means I am now racing Losi 8ight 2.0

This is a pretty new bit of kit, bought from new just 2 months ago. It has only done 3 full race days, giving a total of just 3 hours run time.

What you get...

* Hyper 9 Pro - A Version, with the 20mm Big Bore shocks
* 1 spare set of lower front arms
* 1 spare set of lower rear arms
* 2 spare differential cases and seals
* 1 set (4) gearbox case screws
* 1 set of lower arm shafts (4)
* 1 set of front upper arm shafts (2)
* 1 set of centre diff outdrives (2)
* 2 sets of front/rear diff outdrives (4)
* 2 sets of TKO Racing diff O-rings (one fitted, one spare)
* 1 spare servo saver set

* 1 spare gearbox casing (front half used, but not faulty)

* 1 brand new set of front CVD driveshafts
* 1 brand new set of rear UJ driveshafts

* 1 set of thin prop shafts for use with the 20 degree mount

* 2 part used Answer RC Ali clutches

* HoBao vented 13th clutch bell
* 10 new clutch bell bearings
* HoBao standard flywheel. New collet is required
* 20 degree engine mount (25 degree standard fited to car)

* Front CNC chassis brace

* The NEW 4+4mm chassis which is thicker and longer for less flex and more stability

* Full set of springs for the 20mm Big Bore shocks - Grey (hard) White (medium) and Blue (soft)
* Front anti-roll bar set
* Rear anti-roll bar set
* 1 full spare set of 20mm big bore shocks (a couple have a bent shaft, shafts are around £4 a full set)

* Spare rear wing - was white, now a light orange

* JESpares Hyper 9 Hi-Tensile screw set
* Simply RC Hyper 9 bearing set
* Pack of Power Save air filters (5 remaining) and bottle of Power Save air filter oil

* I also have on order 3 sets of the new style front lower arms which resolve the cars weak point. These are due to arrive on my doorstep this week, and will be included in the sale.

* Tyres - the standard tyres are completely gone - i will fit a set of rubber from my racing selection.

* AMBrc DP - I will also include my old AMBrc DP which is in fine working order, as i have a new one recently. This means you are ready to race!

* Shells - I have 3 shells, one being the HoBao shell, and 2 others are the JConcepts shell. They are all painted in the same scheme. They do have the wording "smudge" on the window, but this will easily rub off should you not want it on there.

What I have done...

* Partial rebuild and clean - I carried out a full rebuild on Saturday 18th July, and raced on atsroturf on the 19th. With this in mind, with astro being clean, i have not totally dismantled and completely rebuilt the car for the sale. I have stripped it down to major components and cleaned, with everything getting a coat of PTFE.

What I have not done...

* Diffs - These were rebuilt on the evening of 18th July, and have seen just 15 minutes run time. I therefore have not rebuilt these for the sale. They are setup as follows: F 10k, C 7k, R 5k
* Shocks - Again these were rebuilt on the evening of the 18th. They have seen 15 minutes run time and therefore do not need a rebuild yet. Current setup on these is as follows: F 30wt, R 27.5wt
* Brake pads - These were filed on the 18th, and have seen 15 minutes run time. They have plenty of stopping power so i have not filed them again.

Things to note...

* The left front steering post, has a bit of wear from the enhaust mount. I have sinse trimmed the exhaust mount and the 2 no longer touch. The wear is not performance detremental.
* Chassis - i have dremeled a small peice of the chassis where the engine mounts. This is required when you run an engine that has fins on the crank case. The chassis design did not allow for this. The new 4+4mm chassis does however.
* Shock towers, and shock caps have the usual few scuff marks - nothing performance detremental.
* The grub screw holding the front brake lever has stripped. As yet it has not worked itself loose, and it is in perfect position so i have not done anything about this. I will however allow a few £ on the price to allow for a new lever and cam.
* My main running shell has started to crack at the nose, and rear body clip position. It is however still perfectly usable.
* Black wing - The black rear wing has a crack in the bit of plastic linking the top and lower fins. This is not performance detremental and is perfectly good to run on the car still.
* Flywheel has a slight scuff, but does not effect starting or performance
* the 4+4mm chassis has a natural curve, which flattens when all components of the car are bolted on. It is not bent as it may appear on first sight.

Extra points...

* Will come with original box
* Manual has got damp, but has not ripped or stuck together, just creased

Not included...

* The storage boxes with the spares in are not included. Parts will be bagged and put into the box with the car.
