FORCC at the Abbey School, faversham

Has anyone thought about this one yet??
Im up for it :woot: !, i usually miss out on these things as they are usually on saturdays and sadly work gets in the way.
I could attempt a 4.5 in tracys old academy! just for a giggle!.......or the Manta ray (if its built in time).

Also thanks to John for putting up the results each week on the website.. i think its been great seeing where we stand in the championship. :D

Thought I'd give this a bump, as the whole event is for a most worthy cause, not just for us to blat our cars round.

Anyone in the area on Sunday 9th August who fancies joining in will be most welcome.

Please check the FORCC website for more information.

brookie 24-07-2009 11:48 AM

Is everybody welcome to this? Even non-FORCC members:lol:

Also have you remembered to contact Matt B. re. offer of support?

Think diary is clear at the mo. Some drivers will be prepping/travelling to the Euro's so may not be available but there are those of us that are not going!

If non-members are welcome can I suggest a link in the South East section of this forum?

Hog 24-07-2009 02:19 PM

Everybody is welcome Steve - providing they are BRCA members.

I'll post a link up on the SE section shortly.

Just wanted to give this event a bump again as it's only a week away.

So far we have around 30 drivers - I'm sure with no clashes on the regional calendar we can raise that figure if the word is spread.

The whole event - which includes Classic and American car displays, boot fair, funfair and other attractions as well as the FORCC racing display is really for a superb cause. No-one can fail to have heard of the number of fatalaties and casualties recently from our Armed Forces fighting far away from home. This is our opportunity not only to promote our hobby, but to do something, no matter how small, as a little thank you and put some £'s in the coffers for the guys and girls getting injured in the line of duty.

Please - if you've got no plans on Sunday 9th August and are not too far away from Faversham - please come and support the event either by racing with us or even just turning up and watching.

Let's all do our bit eh?

Bump TTT

Sorry to hijack this thread but.....
Also like to take this opportunity to remind ALL drivers that I am currently taking entries for the BRCA End of Season Finals, Juniors, Veterans & BRC's at Kidderminster (closing date 15.08!) and F345's at Broxtowe, full details available here:

http://www.brca.org/

Will be available to provide further details about these events and take entry forms, cheques etc. at this event on Sunday:thumbsup:

NB Weather's looking good for the event: http://www.metcheck.com/V40/UK/FREE/...aversham&day=3

Lastly are there any specific details drivers will require for entry into the school before it opens to the public incl. cost of entry?

See you Sunday:thumbsup:

Tractor Boy 06-08-2009 06:21 PM

Dear Steve and all,

When you arrive at the school you will be directed to the area which we have been alicated for our track. Just make sure you tell them who you are and that you are racing with FORCC.

There is no cost on entry to all drivers but what we intend to do is ask for voluntary contribusions when you book in.

As you say weather looks great hope to see as many of you there as possible and all are welcome

Regards Alan.

What a bloody fantastic day out!!!

Huge crowds watching the racing. Brilliant sunshine. A nice quick track and not much grip so plenty of action for the spectators.

Thanks to everyone who made it work on the day

Apparently we've already been booked for next year...........
