PAYG broadband

I want a dongle, and a PAYG account, for mobile broadband, but I can't seem to find one that hasn't got a time limit on your bandwidth that you bought.

Anyone know of a contract that works exactly like a mobile payg deal, where you access lasts as long as you got credit??? Many thanks!!

don't know of one, but we got the three one - the most expensive payg one with 12 gb of juice already on it which also lasted for 12 months. Any top ups just last 30 days or whatever, but the 12gb it comes with lasts the 12 months. I thought I might run out, but since I really only use it for race reports etc there's no way I'll be able to use a gig a month on it.

thanks guys, looks like I will just have to stick with leaching off WiFi for now, until I can get a proper PAYG, not buying X amount of Bandwidth fot a month.

T-mobile service is unlimited usuage on prepay.

Stick cost is 25 pounds through a t-mobile store
top up with 15 pound credit to get 30 days unlimited access
this service is activated by texting 30 day to 441 using the connection manager software, 30 days begins from the calander day you first click connect.

all the networks sell the exact same stick but only t-mobile offers unlimited access on prepay
they also are the only network not to have overrun charges on a contract dongle which will again cost 15 a month with an 18mth term, discounted to a tenner a month for the first 3 months

but I don't want a time limit, as I might as well hand over my cash, for nothing, each month.

how often would you be using it?

DCM 19-07-2009 10:28 PM

not to often, just if I can't get wifi when I am out... not planning on using it as my main connection.

well the option may be to buy a pay and go stick, put credit on it for when you want to use it and you will be charged on a per day rate.
standard charge is 2 quid a day, although this is calander day so keep in mind connecting for the first time at 11:50 pm is not the best way for value for money
