Who'd use an RC manager website?

Ok, you may or may not know, I am a Web Designer/ Web Developer :o

I want to simplfly my RC websites.

I will be ending my forum as an RC forum. Hwoever, I am coding a little something up, and want to know if you'd use it?

An RC manager.

Basically the site will let you:
Add, Edit, and delete set-ups, for any car.

Run your own RC blog, with integrated RC news from tyrc. The blog has everything from recent races, to picture galleries.

Has a dynamic, to-do-list. You can simply add and edit things you need to do on your car, either at the track, at home, anywaher you can pick-up the internet. I will also be offering a offline version, and a PDA/ pocketPC/ internet connected mobile version
;)

And I will add ay other functionality as requested.

Also this web application will be free to use:D:D:D

BTW, I will be looking for BETA testers to help out, please PM me...

And finally, if you have any further ideas, comments, feedback, please post it below.

BTW this is copyright Ben Gribbin, I have a creative commons liscence to proove it

Don't see the point to be honest! If the cars broke, I'll fix it. If not, it stays in the garage all week. If I need a set-up change there is an abundance if info on this site as well as all the news I can be bothered to read:)

:) Think its a great idea, may be lots of work tho, something on my palm with setups and dates backed up to the homeputer/web may be helpfull, could I be bothered to keep it updated, if it was good I would. Could I be bothered to read blogs.........nope:cool:

I'll begin coding a.s.a.p.

Should I keep it open to all RC sectors? Or just 1:10th offroad?

TRF_Tastic 11-03-2007 10:58 PM

All sectors would be good.

Like Nick said, If I need to rebuild my diff, I don't want to write about it first and tell everyone. I just go and do it. If I have an issue, I'll then use a forum to pool knowledge.

I am thinking you are trying to hard to be a resource for everyone, just be a resource for yourself and enjoy going racing.

lol.

When I get the spare 6 or 7 hours, I will get round to codng it up, people can use it if they like ;)
