Please can you good people on here tell me the spec of this car i have bought off ebay to start racing again club level.
Its a kinwald i think with upgrades,probably need new servo's/speed controller has a 17x2 team orion,lunsford turnbuckles,trinty alloy pivot block(wats thatt?????)rpm spur gear cover,so what you lot think????? payed £80.00 4 it
When i get it in the post i will upload more close up's.
Should i strip her down and check everthing?
first thing am going to do i think is buy a losi xxx set up sheet:p

XXX Kinwald still a great kit the alloy block was on optional mount for the hinge pins ,good stuff. Always pull a used car apart and check it out for wear and just to get accustomed to taking it apart. Dont by setup sheets!
They are everywhere on the internet.Maybe the jokes on me.Good luck good car

Been out of racing for a few years so need to start from the scratch again, the guy i bought it said he raced it in regional events and then passed it to his dad, so sounds good.
Please some one tell me the motor thats in it?will it need replacing?or is it quick enough for indoor/outdoor tracks...i'll be off to bury metro in a few weeks so beware of the rusty driver with a losi:lol: lol

I bid on that one - lol but didn't go further as I like my XXCR Kinwald.

Nice looking car.

Just got one of these myself recently, still not raced it yet as waiting for brushless esc to arrive, but manuals and parts listing here
http://www.losi.com/Products/Support...rodId=LOSA0029

strip down and rebuild before racing and fully check out diff and slipper assembly.

hope this helps

Parts seem pretty cheap. First thing I did with my XXCR I got recently was replace the shock o rings, diff balls, diff plates. Got some slipper pads, but have changed them yet.

It's fab now :)

What are the best size hexagan tools to get because i need to strip her down and dont have any tools lol
Also what parts should i grease up again seen as its not been used for a while cant wait to give it a blast!!!

I bought my set of allen keys from B & Q, they cost 8 quid for a whole set going down to 0.05 which is the smallest you might need.

strip down the diff assembly and grease the bearings and also the thrust bearings inside the outdrive, when rebuilding make sure you follow the instructions very closely and then setup diff and slipper according to team tips in back of manual. Hope this helps.

most of all have lots of fun.
