The LPF has a brushless motor limit of 5.5 turns. I think the GT Pro version has a 3.5 limit. The latter has more amps too.

I own the LPF, and use it with a Nosram 5.5 motor in a B44 in a large astro track. I've used it through all of this season, including the last few Sundays where weather has been 28+ Celcius, and it's worked perfectly. No thermalling at all, and warm to the touch.

Highly recommended for the price. (Nice programmer too!)

i cant get my lpf to turn my 5.5, any-1 know what i may be up against?

its doing my nut in.

Does the motor work with other ESC's? If not, the motor might be the problem.

Sounds obvious, but us your LPF in 'brushless motor' mode? Lastly, restore all factory settings on the programmer card & go from there. Oh and ensure the capacitor is fitted correctly and the sensor wire.

my brushless motors work ok, just cant understand why theres no power going to my motor.

it's in brushless mode and timing is set standard.

Make sure you set ALL your end points to 100 and not max.

When I got my first SP (I have four now) I had my KO throttle HP @150, when I turned it down to 100 hey presto, all was good.

hi. if i turn my gemini 2 down from 140 to 100, that should cure my problem?

cheers..Alan

Hi Alan

Strange as it sounds I THINK it might. If you take a look in the instruction book, it specifically states that endpoints for throttle and brake must be set to 100. I have absolutely no idea why it should make a difference but it did to mine.

I feel you have nothing to lose!!

Just a few questions about the 5.5 not running
Have you tried any other motors with the esc and do they work?
Is it a sensored motor, and if so have you tried to run it in sensored and sensorless modes?
If it is sensored then are the wires definately connected up in the right order.
Have you checked what total timing you are trying to run the motor at? Novak and some other brands have fixed timing advance on the motor, but the SP esc's have additional timing advance which you can set electronically with the program card. The total timing may be too high or even negative if you are trying to do something funky like running it backward in a mid-motor car.
Do all of the right lights come on and respond when you are on throttle, full throttle, brake ect?

I'm sure if you've been trying to get it going you have already looked at these things, but just a thought

Ben
