Cat SX Diff Rebuild???
 
Hi Guys,

anyone had any problem when you rebuild your diffs??
i have had may years rebuilding diffs lol. but never had one being "notchy" like this??

i change plates, balls, obviously clean thrust assembly etc.:cry:

has anyone got around this in any way??

didn't you change the thrust race as well,if thats the only thing you didn't change i would say thats your problem

And check the circlip aswell that holds the thrust bearings is seated correctly in the grove ;)

i haven't thought of it as it is only just run in lol. will double check on the circlip

I have not got the manual with me, which way up does the clip go ?

Flat edge or rounded edge towards the thrust race ?
