Which Li-po charger....?

Morning all,

I been looking and there seems to be lots and lots of lipo chargers around mainly on a 'certain auction site' and some of them are only around the £30-£50 mark which seems very reasonable. Can anyone recommend a charger or confirm that these cheapish ones are any good....

Cheers

You'll find the more you pay the more accurately the chargers will balance and peak the cells.

I've got a similar charger to the one's you describe and i have also got a Fusion Elysium LX60B Pro.

The LX60B will balance cells to within 5mv and i have found the ni-mh charging to be excellent also with a very accurate delta peak detection and charge termination

My other charger does the same job but just not as accurately and without as many programable functions also.

My brother owns one of the cheapie lipo charger's/balancer's but his is slightly different to my cheapie B5 as his has a cycle function and discharge function(cost him £25 delivered) and i have to admit for the money they are good but if you can afford to spend a bit more i can highly recommend the LX60B Pro. It will look after your batteries a little bit better and keep them very closely balanced.

Chris this is the slightly newer model of my charger and I am well impressed with it. I only paid 55 quid for mine but £68 these days is still a good price...

You'll need a balance lead as well but they are £4.50 and I can solder it all up for you to fit into yer charger...
