XXX-CR
Been having some problems with my xxx-cr used it twice now and i just seem to be cooking motors, so bad that one of the brush shunts desoldered itself. I'm guessing it's down to the copper shims in the diffs giving a litle bit to much slip, I'm going to try it next week without them and just shim the diff on the outdrives.
Has anyone else had any problems with this? |

The diff shims won't cause your motor to desolder it's self there is some thing else wrong there, more than likely with the motor. |
or mad over gearing

If it Helps My X-6 was desoldering both wires and the skotty doid at abot 4 mins ,, Turned out my Keyence was set to a drive frequency of 1.5 ( Stock Motor Setting ) Running a 12 SINGLE was just to much Changing the Drive frequency down to 8.5 its been fine HTH..........

the 2 10's are over geard indoor for short tracks 19 should have been ok may be even under geard

clear is silcone grease for diff balls
white thrust race only |
that might be my problem then the diff may be slipping when heating up under load and over revving the motor. looks like i need to do a rebuild anyone used associated black grease on their losi thrust race.

I use the Losi clear grease on the diff balls, shims and plates and associated black grease on the thrust race |
