About Durango's photo

Dear Board Master,

I am sorry I have to bother you this way.. However, I have realize one of your members had been copying all my Durango photos from a China Site without asking any permission from myself. If you do need proof on who's the rightful owner of those photos, I will arrange them immediately.

We do not want to create any problem for the UK distributor of Durango, since they may or may not want these photo to be seen in a very popular UK Forum, because the car are still a pre-production sample and not finalize yet.

Please kindly help us by removing all those photos, no permission were ever granted for those photos to post in here.

A sincere apology if this cause any trouble to your board and to Durango UK.

Regards,
Joho

Pictures

You could have added security to the files to stop downloading. But even then all you have to do is print screen and cut and paste the pictures out. Think your stuffed whichever way as Mark said you put them on the web ??

To be fair guys, Jimmy has posted before his frustrations with people using his pics without permission, this is a similar deal (though not being used for advertising, just rc porn posted by a member , not Jimmy's doing or anything!), if they want them removing sounds fair enough!

Jimmy has never had a problem of people using his pictures for 'personal' use, only when they get used for commercial/advertising reasons.

If the Durango pictures weren't to be seen, then they should of been kept off the web, simple as.

Isn't it Durango who've done deal for uk releases to all go through a certain site though, thought I remembered it having to be linked or credited when some pics came out?

Isn't a fair compromise to just remove the pics and post a link to the source site instead, the guy is being perfectly reasonable!

If you tell me where these photos are I will gladly remove them! Not sure which photos they are but I took quite a lot of Durango photos myself and didn't post them online because there were already some good similar photos.
If they are yours, I'll gladly replace them with mine.

I've had many of my photos used on other forums and I don't remember ever complaining. When people are excited about something and was to use a couple of photos to talk about something thats fine by me - but I respect your wishes. Just tell me what images are yours though.

Dear Jimmy,

It was posted in the Team Durango Thread, and it had been remove by the poster already. Thank you very much for his kindness and yours understanding too. The photo were actually a building report on a pre-production sample that I have post up in a China forum. They were never meant to be in Oople because UK market are under Durango UK's decision on how and when to launch their marketing effort on the new car.

I am very sorry if this cause any troubles to anyone, and please excuse me if I sound rude or anything, english is not my native tongue and I never meant to be.:)

Thank you very much for your concern.

Regards,
Joho
