South Coast off-road clubs?

There seems to be a HUGE gap in my bit of the country where there are no off-road clubs.

Stretching from Clanfield / Titchfield in the East, to Tiverton in the West, and up to Newbury / Slough / Swindon in the North there's nothing, nada.

That's about a 90 minute - 2 hour driving radius for me in Bournemouth!

Anyone else in this area who would like to see some some off-roading more local?

Make your own?

you did say the other day on your FB status you were "mowing the off road track" aka bit of random land next to the scalextr...sorry, on road track lol:lol:

Im sure many an old skool off road-er may appear out of the wood work. Didn't you used to have a track over that way years ago? Think it began with a "B".

lesro is supposed to be doing something shortly ive heard, near sopley whether it will be mostly nitro though:mad:, hope Daryl being old school leccy steps in there, two of us went up to torch (only one of us raced though) on sunday, good fun to be honest and enough of a turn out to make worth while travelling a little, took us just over an hour to get there so not to bad.

Yes, SHMCC's Bashley track used to be off-road about 10 years ago, then went tarmac when touring cars became fashionable.

So now I'm trying to see what the interest level is, so I've cut a tiny track next to the tarmac one, just to see...

Dunno about Daryl from Lesro, he's been talking about doing an off-road club near here for at least the last 5 years!
