Nosram Warrenty
 

Hi Guys

My nosram speedo went pop last thursday night. So today ive rang mirage and they have told me that as of the end of the month they are no longer distributing nosram equipment. So they said they wont honour my warrenty. But it isnt the end of the month!!! So where do i stand. I cant take it back to the shop as i got it from as this is was a warrenty replacment and when i did originally buy it i bought it from kevs racing bits who have now closed!!!

It sounds as though they should honour the warranty if they are currently distributors, but if they refuse, can they tell you who will be taking it over and maybe you can contact them instead.
Either way it sounds like you'll have to wait until next month to get it sorted. Bad luck Ash.

They said they would take my details and ring me when they know who the new ditributor will be. But i cant afford to be waitting month on ends waitting running 2 cars on one speedo.

i have had the same with an orion speedo had from mirage, sent away for repair/replacement and then they changed distributors leaving me with an expensive little plastic box doing nothing. Not very happy as my thought was if the item was sold by them, then it would be up to them to get it sorted??
Never had any problems with nosram mind, excelent gear and service:thumbsup:

Well I rang mirage back and said i wasnt to pleased about it. They still said there was nothing i could do other than send it back to nosram themselves. I asked if i could send it back to them for them to check etc then for them t contact nosram in germany to send me oen direct but they said no. But they did say that nosram are on a brink of a new deal so we will wait and see.

On the 1st July we will find out who is the new Uk distributor for Nosram, GRP, hudy e.t.c.

But im pretty sure its going to a new distributor which was formed by past members of Mirage. One of the guys i believe involved is Greg hill who was the accounts manager there.

Youll be able to send it back under warranty to them.....

at the end of the day it is the shop you bought it froms responsibility under british law

best thing to do is contact Nosram direct, or wait for the new distributor, it sucks but you'l get it sorted in the end.

I bought the orignal speedo from kevs racing bits which shut down last year. The speedo i bought off them went pop so i sent it back to mirage last year and i they sent me a warrenty replacement. Which is this speedo. So it didnt really come from a shop.

I tried contacting nosram directly but i can only find a e-mail address which i sent a e-mail to over a week ago and not heard a peap.

Do we know who the new Nosram distributor is yet?

I ask because Ibought a new Nosram esc a couple of weeks back & would like to know who to send the warranty card off to.

On a very similar topic, does anybody else send off the warranty cards when they buy a new Nosram/LRP speedo?
Do you receive some kind of reply or confirmation in return?

I am very intereseted to find out who the new distributor for novak will be as I'm desperately after a HV pro for my E-revo :lol:
