Several papers named the mysterious driver as Ben Collins. Collins, who began racing professionally in 1994, was a stunt driver in the James Bond movie Quantum Of Solace and has appeared as himself on Top Gear a number of times. but there has been no prof at all to back this up

would make sense that it's michael schumacher. anyone remember the show where the stig was driving an f1 car, and i can't remember if it was a older f1 driver or current driver? and, he commented that who ever was driving the f1 car "was/is definitely an f1 driver"? i think it was alonso that said that.
