Awesome I could watch that over and over again The best racing i've seen in a long time..
They both deserved the win but i suppose Rossi showed us why he is the "The Doctor"

c0sie 15-06-2009 11:50 AM

Best final lap ever. The poor missus woke up to me shouting at the TV :)

Hairy Spider 15-06-2009 11:55 AM

It wasn't the 'usual' eurosport commentators.

...but it was still better than the beebs two. :)

Got to say. I watched it on the beeb (which I don't normally do), But I had to watch it again on eurosport later on. Simply Awesome!!!

Stoner looked knackered!!!!:woot: after slugging that duke around.

paulc 15-06-2009 08:19 PM

heart in mouth stuff what a race thought the move he put on stoner at laguna last year was good but sunday when they dropped it in to that last corner he just let the brakes off fantastic racing loved the slowdown lap with the spanking arse gesture too

stoner looked done in though only guy that can seam to get that pig of a duke round in a respectable position

top 3 all on the same points nearly half a season done and its all got to start again love it better than f1 by miles

for some reason the servers let me watch it last night :D but other colleges on shift they wouldn't, but they only want to watch neighbours

just read in mcn that rossi was giong 10 kph SLOWER in 2nd gear rather than his usual 3rd for that corner so he could nail it out to get the drive to the line that's thinking under pressure. top man

he thinks just like me

back in the day when I raced on tarmac it was a windy day at Croft 1980 I think, I geared to pull into the wind for 90% of the track and over revved on the Railway Straight. Nearly lost it at the end of the straight on last lap though as I missed the apex. Guess what I won :)
