That's not how I read the first paragraph: "All 10 current Formula 1 teams have been included on the list of entrants for the 2010 season, though five of those are on a conditional basis"

If you look here: http://www.formula1.com/news/headlines/2009/6/9487.html it lists each team entered (near the bottom).

Although, if you believe the ITV F1 page (http://www.itv-f1.co.uk/News_Article.aspx?id=46112) Ferrari aren't happy about being automatically entered for 2010, but then again they are contracted to the Concorde agreement until 2012....

All in all, I think it's about time F1 stopped airing its dirty laundry in public as I think it is now starting to harm the sport

On the upside, Le Mans 24 Hrs this weekend

Maybe hi-jacking the wrong thread here but... I prefer BTCC... real looking cars, real motorsport tracks (not cities turned into tracks)... drivers who are not prima donnas... sensible admission prices... c'mon...

At the end of the day behind all the contreversy and politics there the best drivers in the world driving the most advanced cars in the world and at the best tracks in the world.

LOL theres not that many street circuits.

I like BTCC tho it's a bit more real!

ryan_93 12-06-2009 08:49 PM

you never hear btcc drivers/teams complaning to the media like f1 teams/drivers do.

jonny123 12-06-2009 08:51 PM

sorry guys, the best racing ever is moto gp, followed by world touring cars:thumbsup:

Let's face it, the BTCC hardly gets enough viewers to fill a people carrier - no one gives a flying flip what happens to a bunch of uncharismatic 40 year-olds! :D :D

In all seriousness, it clearly doesn't bug F1 audiences much. TV figures remain up, and the sport can afford to go to circuits that are almost empty (Turkey) and yet still generate a £1bn a year in income. We might not like it, but it's still making them all a large fortune!! ;)
