Purple bits :)

Received my new Cat SX S1 Composite a few days ago  and am in the process of installing the radio gear etc and getting the wiring neat and tidy.

The kit came with a bag of bits to do the finishing touches - servo horns, ballstud for servo, bits to align the battery (which I don't need as I got the very tidy nortech battery retainer)...

BUT there are a couple of parts in the bag that I can't work out what they are for - the first is a pair of round purple alloy things and the second is a pair of short metal rods (like the rods that fit outside losi rear hubs to drive the wheels)

Can anyone enlighten me please?

Car looks awesome - can't wait to get it running

Hi Dom

Kind of difficult to answer from your description but how about hex adapters for the front wheels and spare drive pins.

You can always pop down to EPR if you want anyone to look at it? We will be there on the next two weekends as well as Wednesday, Thursday and Friday next week too.

They are the convertion kit to run Losi 4wd front wheels.

They are shown in the manual.

Cheers Matt - can't do this weekend or the national unfortunately, but I'm definitely back for the next 2wd regional and will bring the cat along then (may run open class with it). Hopefully back for some practice before that too.

Did you receive my EPR membership ok?
