Cheers for the comments guys. Got a couple of options on things now. I would like to have the strips around theedge of the chassis like the cr2 which would strengthen it and battery wise i can either run 6 cells accross the chassis, but this would mean i wouldnt be able to have the straips around the chassis. Second option is to run a small lipo along the length of the chassis. Or run 5 cells the length of the chassis or 5 cells accross the chassis x6 style.

Blitz the shell fits good. But its not your shell yours was to nice to cut up i tried it on my old one first then if the cars good ill do it to my nice shell :)

This might be a daft question but can you either reverse your motor or have you added a 4th geat or intend to run an idler between the spur and pinion, if not then it may just go backwards

Looks cool though

Yea its a sensorless motor and speedo so i can just switch two of the phases around and it will run in the oposite direction.

nice job ASH, will you be making a centre spine for the chassis or will you leave it flex? when did my cr conversion, i had loads of flex to get sorted.

ashleyb4 10-06-2009 07:42 AM

I was thinking of making a carbon fibre battery tray i think that will sort out most of the flex in the chassis.
