Painted Pulsar

I bought my LRP Pulsar second hand and all the colour had faded it, leaving it a dull silver. With some paint left yesterday I thought Id give a bit of a change of colour :D

get yourself some lacquer and make it all shiny, and hope the paint don't flake off anyhows, lol.

what paint did you use>

It looks, hmmm, drab....

tc2k 23-02-2007 12:30 PM

It looked tacky with bright red I sampled on it. It did flake about an hour after I did it when i touched it but this morning its stuck down well with no flaking. I was looking for some kind of coating to put on it but wasnt sure its worth it, doesnt seem to be peeling.

i can just imagine the returns department at helger if it goes wrong as is sent back with the limited lifetime warrenty:D

Doubt Id ever do that. Bought the charger second hand from the US and then it was around 2 years old, Ive had it about 14months so if it broke Id just buy a new one. All Ill say is I think it looks alot better than it was.

losixxx 23-02-2007 01:13 PM

why just buy a new one, that's the whole point of the ''lifetime'' warrenty???

if it brakes send it to me i will happily send it back and get a nice new one

tc2k 23-02-2007 02:10 PM

No lifetime warranty card came with it. And if it broke Id get charged a fair bit to get i fixed no doubt and Id buy a lipo compatible charger as they can be had fairly cheap noiwadays, anyway, I see no reason why it would pop is clogs after over 2 years use.

losixxx 23-02-2007 03:24 PM

why would you get charged a fair bit because its old?

tc2k 23-02-2007 03:26 PM

No, because there is no warranty card. Also it seems people get given standard charges anyway.

I dont know why its being debated anyway, it aint broke.

we know it aint broke but what every1s trying to say is, say if it did brake you could send it to helgar and you wont be charged a fortune even if you dont have the warranty card, they would fix it charge you a little fee or they would replace it like for like, they would not send you a cheaper charger than you sent them, and trust me i know.
