Good voltage for Lipo storage

What's a good voltage to leave lipo cells at if they won't be used for a while? Will 4v be ok or is that too high?

Google seems to suggest that 3.80v-3.90v per cell is about right.

That should see you at about 50% charged.

Google for LiPo storage voltage and you'll find loads of stuff fella.

what charger do you have? bc6 has a storage charge mode

Yeah it is, was a little worried it may store them a little low?

3.7 / 3.8v seems to be the consensus (40 to 50% charge)
In addition to that, lowering temperature for storage helps durability. So fridge is also good (but not to the taste of the wife:))

Lipo can handle slow charge/discharge without damage can't they? Just askig as I have used the storage option, and it is very slow as it is discharging them to 3.80v at @0.5A?

That reads FRIDGE not FREEZER...! The freezer will degrade the structure so when it is defrosted it'll pop... well it did to mine... :(

Hmm dont know where your getting your ideas from but I recommend not putting them into the fridge , lipo's like it to be not 2 warm but not 2 cold as the internal cells composits thickens as lipos cool and expand when very warm , room temp is ideal for lipo storage.

Oh store them at about 40 - 50% charged

Hope This Helps

lipo like(do they?) being warm but just because it lowers their internal resistance(more punch), not too warm though. I have not seen anywhere that it increases their lifespan to get warm for discharge.
About cold storage...a book at work... But I have to say it states that regarding Lithium-ion batteries.
Lithium-polymer might or might not be different in that respect? But I found this link googling it(seems quite serious):
