Next BATracer season - poll

We've got last race in ongoing season so it's time to decide which carset will be used for next season.

Champcar is a more even playing field compared to some of the other classes...

What's the difference between the 2 champ car options though?

Truly, I don't know. 2.0 is supposed to be newer.

2 BTTC - it's divided into 2 classes so players will be split into 2 groups - can work if we'll decide to split players into more experienced and less experienced, but I don't think that is the right way to go - unexperienced players can get some advices from better players when they team up.

the batsevens are good, similar to champ cars in the chassis are fairly even and you have 3 man teams so if one drops out you can still survive. It's also a fairly quick season (around 25 days) so it doesn't drag on for those who get bored.

I don't mind either champ car or BatSevens.

This last season has been pretty good as it has had a decent turn out all season and some good banter. Usually you only get 3-4 drivers compete after the first race or two!

Anyone who wants to learn the ropes from scratch and team up with me, let me know! Mr Green?

i like the idea of 3 car teams... bit of an uphill struggle trying to set the car up with no team mate input.

I'm in! Team Schumacher!

jim76 05-06-2009 08:27 AM

Can anyone joining please read the note about qualifying in the driver chat area. It is based on your warmup times so you don;t want to waste all your laps before your teammates have done some testing as well.

Also, can i have a Newbie join my team for the last slot instead of a seasoned veteran so i can pass on some advice and level the teams a little!

How many people can join in on this season?

Reading about it just now and it sounds like it should produce some interesting races, especially with the reverse grids on the 2nd race! :D

jim76 05-06-2009 09:06 AM

there are 3 players per team, can't remember the maximum players, but once we have around 8-9 teams set up i would recommend any people joining to join an existing team instead of setting up a new one, otherwise they may end up on their own, or as just a 2 which makes things harder

Gonky 05-06-2009 09:11 AM

Well in that case there's a couple spots spare in Gravel Trap Racing then!

jono83 05-06-2009 10:24 AM

lochness42 05-06-2009 12:17 PM
