Celery

you either love it or hate it

now I like celery with root ginger and that's about it

for some inane reason I chose the Cream of Celery soup whilst out at Killhope Lead Mines yesterday

it was :drool:ingly good

homemade @ the cafe and gave it 9.9 out of 10, they need something to aim for

Are you sure Twisty?

I think the jury is still out on the question "is celery a fruit or a vegetable...?"

The part most folk recognise as celery is just the swollen Petiole (leaf part) of the plant... that's a bit like saying the leaves and branches of an apple tree are fruit...

Take a look at Rhubarb for instance... most would recognise it as a fruit but it is technically a herb, and therefore a vegetable...

Aahhh... isn't nature amazing?

i like it with a sprinkle of salt or garlic humus, but has to have the stringy back bit shaved of always, and celery soup is lush,

celery....goes with branston pickle an absolute treat, but is also very good with salt, humus, and even tesco value mixed fruit jam.

I quite like it in a stew as well.
