Will it?

The motor hanging out the back will balance the car on the rear wheels and should counter any "tipping" problems.

Would like to see a vid of it on a track.

ok so how does a b4 load its front wheels when you come of the throttle to turn in?
weight goes to the outside front wheel on a b4, it wont all go to the centre front wheel on this

What if you braked before the corner, turned in with constant speed, that would balance the car on the rear outside wheel. It would take an excellent set up and skills of driving, but do-able? Maybe?

I'm reminded of the Carver which once appeared on Top Gear:

It's basically a bike with a car's rear axle - I wonder if it could be made in RC scale easily?

PaulRotheram 31-05-2009 10:49 AM

That looks really cool! regardless of the handleing it still looks very good! well done :)

DCM 31-05-2009 10:50 AM

why not make a three wheel, with a single rear wheel, that would be cool!!

The main problem I see is the reverse caster on the steering, it wont want to pull in a straight line which will make it tricky at speed. Should be interesting tho. Good work.

scotoap 01-06-2009 05:43 AM

cool, have you seen the new Mardave sidecar kits?

tymill 10-06-2009 12:09 AM

Definitely different! wonder if it'd run better in reverse...?
