Good Luck to everyone going to Oswestry!!

Just wanted to say GOOD LUCK to all those taking their Preds to Oswestry this weekend.

From reading all the reports the cars have been performing better and better - so have the drivers!!

GOOD LUCK everyone - stay off the pipes - stay right side up!!

Last time I raced there I never finished a single run because I unsoldered the motor or cells ater 2 minutes - hope it's not the same this weekend :( I need to remember to fully cut out all the scoops - possibly even open up the front window:o

It was good, where do I start.

Sorry to Jimmy, I think I'd put the wrong pistons in the front shocks boss, so it was a bit of a pig in the early rounds, although lots of Chod may have added to what was going along.

Strong performace from Kev, in the 'A'.

I don't think the track was 100% suited to the Pred, in that it's best on higher grip tracks like Tally was, or EPR is next time out. I didn't seem to be able to lean on it and pull time out the other guys I normally mix it with, so personally I was happy to be in the 'G'.

It was good to have our own mini-team thing going on, just a shame we couldn't get the caravans up to where the main team was, or we'd have been doing our stuff up there.

I'm looking forward to EPR now.

Back out with mine at Oz yesterday... early speedo problem was cured.. then did a reasonable run in round 1.. round 2 & 3 just couldnt get into it.. rd 4 changed nowt, other than my attitude lol!! 51st in round! one little mistake in the last lap cost me 5 secs... 12 306 i got so would have been soooooooo close to a 13 (plus higher up the qual list) if i didnt have that mistake!! did consistent 25 sec laps bar 1 with a 24 sommit lap, then my mistake lap of 29/30 secs.

Made the H.. but knew i should by higher.. but had a fab race, started 4th and finished 2nd.. not one mistake!! checked the time afterwards 13.321.. I know you loose some distance as you start on the main straight but it was the consistent 24 and 25 sec laps i was chuffed with!! so after a disapointing start i was well pleased!!

I really need to just be more relaxed about my races.. and just drive my race rather than psych myself up and be all tense etc..

All in all well chuffed with the pred.. first time with the new steering parts on etc at a meeting.. and the car felt so much easier to drive.. and to drive smooth...

Thanks goes to Kev for having a look over the car and making a few changes to it.. much appreciated :)

Cant wait for EPR now

Cheers

Nick
