Cleaning bearings / ballraces.

I've bought some shumacher motor cleaner etc. and was using that to clean the bearings/ballraces. What do people use to re-grease them? I.e. wheel ballraces etc etc.

Was planning on doing the bearing on my Speed Passion 10.5 motor too.

Finish Line Cross Country Synthetic oil - it's for bicycle chains. Comes in a black bottle with a green top. About £5 for as much oil as you'll need for a lifetime!

RC bearings need a synthetic oil as they have very high point loads and, in the motor, not a little heat. Synthetic oil does not gum up, and has good shear strength. Much the best oil for our application, and very easy to get from any decent bike shop. HTH :)

Finish Line for me too!

When you see the abuse mountain bike bearings take, and keep going you'll understand it takes a damned good oil!
Plus its much cheaper than RC stuff.
