Uploading pics from flickr - HELP!
 

Can anyone help on posting pics please? I have uploaded some pics to flickr and I want them to appear as photos in the post (i.e. not as a link).

I got the URL address for the first photo, pasted it into the post and put [IMG] on the left of the link and [/IMG] to the right.

When previewing the post it just shows as the link rather than showing the picture. Is that because I've done it wrong or because the preview function doesn't show pics properly?

Think it's that...

I replied in the other thread where you had problems, but basically:

It's not working from flickr because it's a html page rather than an image. If you right click the image, and choose properties, then you'll see the link to the actual picture. Copy that and put it inside the [ i m g ] tags.

the picture is:

so you remove the ?v=0 bit and put the rest inside the [i m g] tags

You can also click on "all sizes", choose the size you want, and copy the link it gives you to the photo directly rather than the page.
