Aux socket in my Audi?

Iv got a Aux socket under the arm rest in my A3, can I plug an I pod into this and play it through the stereo??

Yeah you can play it through it, you still need to use the iPod controls though

So do I need a lead from the head phones on I pod to Aux socket or one from bottom of I pod to aux socket?

You need 3.5mm to 3.5mm jack cable

You might wanna but a usb in car charger for it or you might not make it there and back on the battery. They're about £5 from Maplins. ;)
