What are they like? worth the money? fast? breakable etc? any info appreciated... |
Not had a close enough look at one myself but they are basically (read pretty much exactly) the same as the Sportwerks Recoil 1/14th scale
Some of the shells they do are awesome - the Audi DTM looks amazing! |
Not the same as, it is the Sportwerks Recoil. Carisma makes them for Sportwerks, or did until they closed Sportwerks......
|
They closed Sportwerks? That lasted a long time then. Wasn't it meant to be an entry-level Losi sub-brand thingy, guess the numbers didn't work out. I'm more worried about Losi's future now (they seem to be going off the 1/10 electric off road racing scene and into odd rock crawler stuff).

....

Nah any good
|
tayracers have them for 100 quid special offer justnow give them a ring on 01821 640789 and speak to alun or dave as i work there and looked at these wee carisma 1/14th scale cars and to be honest they look just like smaller 1/10th scale touring cars they have a subaru impreza, ferrari f430 and an mitsubishi evo ;)
|
These thing's are very nippy as you can see in my avatar i have one im yet to see any damage and once you put brushless its insane
handles like a real 1/10 tourer just smaller and a hell of alot cheaper:thumbsup: |
got brushless recoil 9.2kv 2 an 3 cell lipo run:) insanely fast! don't bother with ball diffs nightmare :bored: geared perfect:thumbsup: at least carisma brought new live to recoil with varity of shells! not just mazda 6

anyways saving it for the big tracks :) |
I've found that with my 1/18th cars (Blaze, RC18..) that diffs and their outs are always a problem... ditch the stock items and go alloy and balldiffs asap...
