Quick question about receivers

Hi Guys,

Wondered if someone could help me with a quick question.. I recently got a KO Propo Esprit II transmitter but need a receiver for it.

It is 40Mhz FM. I have borrowed and successfully used the Futaba R153F which is here

As you can see... this is fairly pricey.

I did spot some hitec ones but am confused by "single conversion" does this suit my transmitter? Do people know if this would work as it seems ridiculously cheaper:

Thanks very much for the help

i would avoid hitec like the plague if i were you. try and stick to the same brand when is comes to radio gear ie tranny, receiver and crystals

thanks for the hitec advice I will do. :)

The KO Propo stuff is too expensive really... a futaba one did work for me when I borrowed it.

This is slightly cheaper:

Can anyone recommend that one?

Thanks again for the help

The futaba one will work fine jus make sure you have room to mount it properly as it looks like the channel inputs are on the side rather than on top for some reason
