40 mhz Radio
 

Hello, i would like to upgrade from 27mhz Sabre Dash to a better 40 mhz FM set. Im have 2 cars and want to use the same Tx for both. One of the cars has a New Futaba R114f fitted so im thinking if i buy one TX and RX i should be sorted. I wish to stay with sticks. Also the cars are indoor type.
My options appear to be Sanwa Gemini 2 and use a Sanwa Rx crystal in the Futaba R114 f.
Or
Futaba 3gr 40mhz the one without crystals and buy a couple of Futaba RX crystals for the R114f (is this possible does the 3GR without crystals speak to an FM Rx with a Crystal?)
