Sanwa Exzes Throttle Pot

I think that my pot has given in as the throttle range seems to be completely wrong. I get full trottle at half stick and hardly any breaking. All of my EPA settings are correct and this continues on all of the model number settings.

I phoned Ripmax and they quoted around £55 for this repair which seems excessive.

Is this an easy repair? Is it an easily available part?

any help on this will be appreciated

thanks, john

Now I haven't taken apart an Exzes but I did repair the pot on my old Exerd Gemini a couple of times.

The pot itself was fine, it was the clamp that held it in place that had broken - I had to get a broken handset off someone else to get the part.

I don't think there is anything to fear by taking the handset apart and having a look at what has gone wrong. Hopefully the pot will have a code printed on it and you may be able to source a single one for a lot less than £55. But if it is the stick itself that is damaged you might need to ask Ripmax to sell the parts seperately.

all sorted now, the pot had twisted in its mount.

I will strip mine down to see what broke with mine lol.
