IceMike 11-05-2009 04:24 PM

i was a heavy weight at sumat like 1698

Jonesy 11-05-2009 04:30 PM

Not sure of the weight but we've weighed it down to what we had last you without LiPo's. I found that the heavier the better

I was at about 1647g at taly. Ive been testing the car with one strip of lead under the lipo and ghea rear brass brace it seems to be right weight for me and works well.

1540g roughly

Might not be a B4 but i was at 1745g and could still do the double, although i only had the guts to do it once.

I think i was running very light then

car did feel a bit odd on jumps and also scrubbing coming into bends (like the s2) and losing traction as there wasnt enough weight transfer

Ive stuck more lead under the lipo now- about 110 now

i already have the Ghea front and rear blocks

If i don't load it up with weight it just feels like it's floating around the track. In the final i got it really good and was able to put in decent consistent laps.

I guess the extra weight forces the car to absorb the bumps rather than skim across the top of them. And not like we are worried about duration, these days

millzy 12-05-2009 09:45 AM

a heavy car also has better grip.

where did ebery one run there lead? i ran it under the lipo but thinking i should stick some in the triangles of the chassis
