i remember seeing a topic about xx4 rear pivot blocks, swapping them over and flipping them.

Does any one know what this does? more grip, better through bumps?

Better over bumps.

Check jimmy's XX4 review and look at the large pics of Ellis Staffords XX4. You can see the blocks in one of the pics.

Actually you can run the CR block. Just make sure you run the 2 degree blocks.
