Savage XL Including Spektrum RX
 

Time has come to sell my Savage XL, I've owned this car since June of last year and has seen just a tick over 2 gallons of fuel. The main reason why i'm selling this is just because we don't have the areas around here to take advantage of what this beast can do, who ever gets this is getting a great buy as it comes with a large amount of spares.

The engine still runs fantastic so much so that the original glow plug lasted the whole 2 gallons without problems, for the sale i have included a brand new plug and given it a run around the local field to make sure everything is in working order.

The only real part of the car that has taken a battering is the shell but with this type of car thats expected. The blue shell is in better condition but has a burn mark where the exhaust got caught on it, the red shell is cracked in the middle but if needed i can repair with this with some plastic strips glued to the split areas.

The Spektrum RX included was bought from here, I did have to repair the aerial and the car now works just fine. Also to be honest as possible the one way bearing does slip tiny amounts but if the engine is primed correctly it will start first time!

I'd like £400 for this, I feel its more than worth it due to the amount of parts included as these set me back alot of money I just never crashed it hard enough to need any of the spares.

I'd prefer a local pick up due to the size and cost of the item, also so i can show the car running. The price does include postage, if your going to collect it I'd do it for £375.

I'd also consider swaps for any race spec buggy/truggy with servos and engine, if you have anything along those lines shoot me a pm with pictures. Finally i will split the car if needed here are the prices i'd like if i go down that street

nice truck! does this not come with a radio in the box?

nope sorry as I sold the original HPI Radio with another car earlier this year. If you need a basic transmitter and reciever I can sort something out i think, i've either got a standard HPI one that came with a hyper 7 or a traxxas tx/rx.

But if not it will come with the specktrum reciever, great if you own the DX2/DX3 or DX3S but not if you don't but as i said if its a problem I can work something out i'd even throw in a fail safe for the standard radio.
