Hubs fix

Hi guys,

I'm sure I'm not the only one to have had this problem so here we go:

Description of the problem :

Rear hubs strip the hole for the ball stud on hard landing / crash.

Solution :

put a med length grub screw in the unused hole, this will strengthen the other hole !

Solution update. Dont crash:thumbsup:

Yeah well, I've had two failures on landing the mega jump at the players spot on, not even noticed until i turned in for the hairpin...

It's a good tip but I can honestly say that I've never had this problem in all the time I've run K' cars. That said a bit of extra strength never hurts.

As with all the plastics on the Kyoshos you have to be careful to just snug up the fasteners as it's oh so easy to damage / weaken the threads.

It's not the threads it's the wall between the two holes that collapses, you end up with an elongated hole

beeping hell mate, how are you doing that??? I've seen people break ball studs off in the hubs from terrible landings and not do that to the hubs!

Either way your tip is a good one.

15 ft long jumps? Trying to triple like the big guns ? :p
